The routing and remote access service allows you to set up dial-up and virtual private network (VPN) features from your Windows computer. This means that you can allow people to either dial-in and use internet or intranet resources, or enter through a VPN over the Internet so that the remote computer can use the Internet as if it was on the network of the VPN server.
